Emily Simpson's Christmas Tree Has Gorgeous Ornaments & the Coolest Flashing Lights (VIDEO)
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is showing how she transformed her living room for the holiday season.
Earlier this month, Emily Simpson showed that the exterior of her home was glowing for the holiday season thanks to the addition of white string lights. More recently, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed she has also transformed the inside of her house for the holiday season.
Emily Simpson's 2023 Christmas decor
In a December 11 Instagram post, Emily shared a video that showed the Christmas decorations in her recently renovated living room. While we loved the red-and-gold ornaments, pinecones, and mini-trees artfully arranged on the coffee table, the red and white stockings hanging above the fireplace, and an illuminated garland flanked by two mini reindeer on a cabinet, we were especially impressed by her gorgeous Christmas tree.
The tree is adorned with beautiful blue and white ornaments (that perfectly complement the room's carpet and curtains), gold and silver ornaments, and tiny flashing lights.
"Growing up, I dreamed about having a nice, warm, safe home with structure and a Mom and a Dad," Emily captioned the video, which showed her husband, Shane Simpson, on the couch with one of their sons as the other played the piano a few feet away. "I dreamed about it, wished for it, longed for it, coveted it, but it was never in the cards for my childhood. I did provide it for my children though."
"Happy Holidays," she continued. "And I wish for all of you to have the power to create the life you’ve always dreamed of…and cheers to breaking the cycle."
How Emily Simpson celebrates Christmas
In addition to decorating her home, Emily has other sweet ways to celebrate Christmas with her family each year. On Christmas Eve in 2021, Emily showed off Christmas-themed cupcakes and a charcuterie board topped with candy canes, dark chocolate stars, peppermint bark, and candies that she was enjoying with Shane and their kids.
In 2020, she told E! News, "I love listening to holiday music while I make cookies or sweet potato muffins as I watch my kids put the ornaments only on the bottom half of the tree, which I'll rearrange and fix later while they are in bed. It's a magical time of year."
