Emily Simpson Reveals Why the Front of Her House Is a “Complete Disaster”
“It looks like a Halloween clearance rack threw up in my front yard,” The Real Housewives of Orange County mom said.
Over the past several months, Emily Simpson has kept it extremely real when opening up about homeschooling her kids, the lie she tells them to keep their house clutter-free, and how she's keeping them entertained at home. So when The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member's children decorated her front yard for Halloween 2020, it came as no surprise that Emily didn't exactly sugarcoat her thoughts on the setup.
"I want to show you the front of my house because my kids decorated it for Halloween all by themselves and it is a complete disaster, but they were so excited," Emily said with a laugh in an Instagram Story video showing her yard adorned with skeletons, paper pumpkins, and creepy tombstone props. "It looks like a Halloween clearance rack threw up in my front yard, but it's OK. It is what it is."
Emily's castmate Gina Kirschenheiter seems to be a bit more excited about her outdoor Halloween décor this year. On October 1, Gina shared Instagram Story videos of her patio decorated with skulls, pumpkins, and a black cat figure while adding the song, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year."
RHOC alums Meghan King and Gretchen Rossi are also getting into the spooky spirit this year. Gretchen recently transformed her dining room table by covering it with prop spiders, skulls, bats, crows, and a cloth resembling a giant black spiderweb. Over at Meghan's house, faux bones line her driveway and a witchy wreath has been added to her front door. While exploring the setup with her daughter Aspen, Meghan sweetly joked of the décor, "Oh my goodness, where did that come from? That is spooky."
Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres on October 14 at 9/8c.
