Emily Simpson Shares an "Amazing" Update on Her Daughter Annabelle's Modeling Career
The RHOC cast member had exciting news to share about her daughter's budding career.
Emily Simpson's daughter, Annabelle, has wasted no time getting ready for her close-up.
Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has documented the start of the 10-year-old's modeling career as she signed with an agency and booked her first job. As Emily revealed on Part 2 of the season's reunion, her oldest kid's career has continued to grow in exciting ways.
Emily Simpson's update on Annabelle's modeling career
Emily was happy to share that Annabelle has already done "a few" major jobs. "She did something for PacSun," she said during the October 11 episode. "Then she did a whole kids accessory line for Carmen Sol, an Italian brand."
"She's just fierce," she added. "She's just so confident, and she's such a badass. It's amazing. She's so great."
On Season 17, Episode 4, Emily opened up about why she felt it was the right time to help Annabelle get into modeling. “Annabelle just like came out of the womb with this huge personality,” she said. “She’s been interested in modeling for many years. I just wanted to make sure that she’s to the point where she would take it seriously, and I feel like we’re finally there.”
In Episode 5, after it was revealed that Annabelle signed with an agency, Emily added, “I think Annabelle modeling at her age right now is a good thing for her because she would have to be somewhere on time, she has to be respectful. She needs a little professionalism in her life. She’s wild.”
Emily was there to support Annabelle at her first professional shoot, cheering her on in the process. “Annabelle, you’re doing so good!” she exclaimed as she took photos on her phone.
“As a mother, I feel like it is my job to make sure that my children are happy and they are able to pursue whatever their dreams are,” Emily explained in an interview. “It’s really rewarding, and it’s amazing.”
When the shoot wrapped, Emily told Annabelle, “I’m really proud of you," and asked, “Do you want to do it again?” Annabelle smiled in response, and said, “Yeah.”
Emily Simpson's past modeling career
As she explained during Episode 5, Emily is able to share her learned experience with her daughter. “When I was younger, I did a little bit of modeling,” she told her husband, Shane Simpson. “I made a little money. When I was in law school… I used to do weekly department store ads.”
