Tamra Judge Reveals Why She'll Never Have a Pool at Home Again
The Real Housewives of Orange County entrepreneur has strong feelings about the California home trend.
Tamra Judge is officially back in her former home. After getting “an offer she couldn’t refuse” on the $2 million Coto de Caza home she had lived in for a little more than a year, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her husband, Eddie Judge, decided to move back into their former home, which they had previously been renting. “But here’s the real deciding factor — two hours after we got the offer on our Coto house, the renters in our Covenant Hills house gave notice they were moving,” Tamra recently told InTouch. “I knew then God was giving me a sign and we needed to trust him.”
Since accepting the offer, Tamra has been completely renovating the home, gutting the master bathroom and closet, putting in new floors, redoing the laundry room, and tweaking the kitchen (no more arches!).
One thing she will not be working on, however, is the pool. Why? Because the house doesn’t have one! During an ask-me-anything type session on her Instagram Stories, a follower asked Tamra if her new house has a pool. “No, and I will never have one again. They look pretty but we never used it. We have a beautiful back yard and courtyard with a bar here,” Tamra revealed.
Well, there you have it, folks, Tamra is bucking the California home norm — because we’re pretty sure 99 percent of the homes in the Golden State have a pool, right? — and prefers a lush, green backyard instead. With a bar, too, of course!
