While Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, lost a significant amount of weight over the years by following the ketogenic diet (she and her family have since changed their eating habits), Vicki has opted for other methods.

How to Watch

In 2020, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed she was taking on the Whole30 Diet, which encourages cutting out alcohol, sugar, dairy, additives, and more for a month to reset the metabolism

More recently, Vicki discussed her recent weight loss on the August 2 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (in an incredible hot pink satin blazer dress by Alice + Olivia, we might add). Considering her head-turning appearance, host Andy Cohen was curious about the details.

“Now, Vicki, you look great. I was assuming you took Ozempic,” Andy began, referencing the semaglutide diabetes medication. After Vicki denied taking Ozempic, Andy prompted her to “tell us what happened.”

“So, it took me a year and a half to lose the weight. I do intermittent fasting,” she revealed, further explaining how the program works.

“I eat for six hours only,” she said. “So in the morning, usually I don’t have anything. I’ll have an intermittent shake that’s, like, just juice in a powdered form with water. And then I don’t eat any lunch and then about three o’clock I’ll eat till eight… anything I want.”

“And how much weight have you lost?” Andy asked.

“Thirty-three [pounds]!” Vicki proudly proclaimed, causing both Andy and Vicki’s bestie, Shannon Storms Beador, who joined her in the Clubhouse that evening, to exclaim, “Wow!”

Vicki later reassured the two that it was a “very slow” process.

Vicki Gunvalson’s Puerto Vallarta Retirement Property

In addition to her recent health changes, Vicki has been adding to her real estate portfolio. In January 2022, she revealed she was “in escrow” on a condo in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and that the home was expected to be “built [and] ready in 20 months.”

Then, in July, Vicki gave an update on the building process of that property, which she said was set to be ready “in April” of 2024.

In another clip, Vicki explained why she was “buying another condo here in Puerto Vallarta” after she bought a beautiful “vacation/retirement house” there in 2020

“I love Puerto Vallarta, as most of you know. The condo that I’m in the process of owning, building… [is] going to be rental income for my retirement,” she explained in a video that was filmed in her current condo. “So I’m looking forward to that thing getting finished, but I am not getting rid of this one. This is the most incredible place ever that I’ve owned [for] almost three years now, and I just love it here.”
