What Is the Keto Diet? Experts Weigh In... and Celebs Sound Off

Vicki Gunvalson's daughter, Briana Culberson, is a believer in the controversial Keto diet — and so is her husband, Ryan! Together, the North Carolina parents have shed a whopping 86 pounds following the low-carb, high-fat diet. To be that successful at the program, it's clear that both Ryan and Briana have really stuck with it. Um, but with 32nd birthdays as the exception.

On April 8, Briana traded in her "Keto queen" title for that of "birthday queen." And of course, a birthday queen can eat whatever she wants. In a series of Instagram Stories, Ryan shared, "It's Briana's birthday and we she wants to cheat so here we are!"

Where were they, exactly? Oh, just a spot that serves "world famous" chicken and waffles. "I seriously need a wheelbarrow to roll me out!" Ryan wrote in the next Story, which showed chicken, waffles, and sides including macaroni and cheese.

The celebrating didn't stop there, either. In his next slides, Ryan showed off a chocolate-y coffee drink, and then he shared Briana sipping a pint of beer for some "birthday shenanigans." Now, that's a cheat day well spent!
