Pregnant Briana and Ryan Culberson Cut Gender-Reveal Wedding Cake in Sweet Throwback Video (Pre Keto!)
Vicki Gunvalson's daughter and son in law Briana and Ryan Culberson celebrated their anniversary with a look back at the wedding cake that revealed they were having a boy.
Vicki Gunvalson's daughter Briana Culberson and son-in-law Ryan Culberson have revolutionized their lives in the last year or so, having famously lost a combined total of 86 pounds by following the Keto diet. These days, The Real Housewives of Orange County are all about making Keto recipes — and sticking to the diet even while traveling. And yes, that means even when visiting Disneyland with their kids!
But before those kids were earthside — and before the Keto diet was even a glimmer in their eyes — Ryan and Briana celebrated their wedding bash at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara resort in Santa Barbara, up the California coastline a ways from Orange County, after having already eloped. The big day was on May 12, 2012, and Ryan marked the occasion of the couple's seven-year anniversary by sharing a throwback video during which the pair cut into their wedding cake while Briana is visibly pregnant under her gown. Inside, blue frosting reveals they'll be having a son!
He captioned it, "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! 7 years ago today, Briana and I asked our family and friends to support our crazy undeniable urge to marry each other in a Vegas drive thru window in the middle of the night 7 months prior. By this time on 5.12.12, we were 4 months pregnant with Troy and discovered at our wedding that we were having a baby boy. This day was so meaningful not only because it was a beautiful celebration of our love for each other, but mostly because our friends and family supported us and loved us through our crazy love story."
On the outside, the Culbersons' wedding cake was a traditional affair, a tiered white-iced confection topped with white blooms. These days, you probably won't catch them digging into a sugar-y treat like that — although, they do have their epic cheat days — but they're quite fond of Keto desserts nevertheless!
