Bravotv.com: What did it feel like having the ladies meet your father and sharing your family’s emotional history with them?

Gizelle Bryant: My Dad is Mr. Charismatic so I knew that the ladies would love him.  I was happy to share the plantation experience with them because of how black people got to this country, it is not just my experience but the history that all the ladies can identify with. It was heartbreaking, but empowering to know who and what I have come from.

Bravotv.com: What was running through your head when you saw Karen on IG Live instead of going out with you ladies?

GB: Karen never stops amazing me. One minute she says that she needs to rest and clear her mind because she is going through so much. The next minute she is chatting with complete strangers on IG. In the future, I will act like a complete stranger to Karen and that will guarantee us to become BFFs, pen pals, and sorority sisters.

Bravotv.com: What do you think of Candiace continuing to question Ashley and Ashley’s drinking?

GB: Look if Ashley wants to drink until the cows come home that is clearly her right. Unlike some other ladies Ashley can actually hold her liquor and control herself.  Candiace is all up in Ashley's reproductive organs when she needs to be worried about her mother treating her like a second class citizen.
