Now that flights from the West Coast of the U.S. to Europe are $69 — and the dollar is going pretty far in the U.K. right now thanks to Brexit — there are few reasons not to plan a spontaneous trip. But let us present to you just one more: London has a new peanut-butter toast bar. And it's poised to challenge the god-sent avocado as the most epic thing to put on sliced bread since — well, sliced bread. (Zing!)
Nut butter company Pip & Nut has opened a pop-up nut butter bar at Selfridges Foodhall, according to Time Out London, where they'll serve a vast array of gourmet toasts with topping options.
Consider topping options stretching the gamut from the delicious but predictable, like apples or strawberries...
...to the over-the-top inventive like spices... and even avocado. (Naturally.)
Prices range from less than $4 in U.S. equivalent for one slice to more than $6 for two slices. For the price of the 100 slices you may be inclined to order in a binge fest, simply multiply the figure.
The popup runs through February 12 — so don't waste time. But again, your excuses for hopping the pond these days basically evaporating.
