Padma Lakshmi Stunned at the 2021 BBMAs in a Crystal Pantsuit by Christian Siriano
The Top Chef host slayed the red carpet in a studded two-piece look designed by the Project Runway mentor.
Padma Lakshmi is a pro when it comes to red-carpet style. The Top Chef host has proven her fashion prowess in many statement-making ensembles at countless award shows. At the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23, Padma managed to wow us yet again with some help from a fellow Bravoleb.
For the A-list music event, Padma turned to Project Runway's Christian Siriano for a playful yet sophisticated ensemble. Styled by Adam Ballheim, Padma wore a sleek pantsuit that was covered in crystals and tailored to perfection. She opted to go shirtless beneath her fitted and plunging blazer, adding a touch of sexiness to the power suit look.
She completed her ensemble with layered, dainty silver necklaces by Jacquie Aiche and added a sparkly silver clutch. She kept her glam simple, opting for a classic full-body blowout by hairstylist Andy Lecompte and a soft, glowing makeup look by Beau Nelson.
"Thank you Christian Siriano for my beautiful suit. I feel so so so comfortable," she shared in an Instagram clip before heading to the ceremony.
This isn't the first time Padma has worn one of Christian's beautiful designs. At the 2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Padma was the picture of grace in a shimmering black gown by the designer. And at the 2019 Emmys, Padma dazzled in an ice blue caped dress that we still dream about.
