Just after eating foie gras macarons in New York, Padma Lakshmi touched down for a fab vacation in Italy. And what's the first scrumptious grub she tucked into when she landed? Apropos of a famous foodie with execellent culinary judgement, the host of Bravo's Top Chef went right for the world's best pizza. (With apologies to NYC.)

Indeed, while Padma's taking a load off in the land of superior carbohydrates, she's hitting wood-fired ovens like a champ. In a July 31 Instagram post, the famous foodie shared a series of snaps from her first day in the Italian city. "Had some bomb [pizza emoji]" she shared to caption photos of said snack — which, yes, looks bomb.

In one clip, "Sexual Healing" plays in the background as chefs drizzle olive oil over a freshly baked pizza. Erotic!

Next, followers get a close-up view of said pies. And in the next photo, Padma poses with the very people who prepared the classically Italian meal: the chefs of 50 Kalò Pizzeria. (Bow down!)
