See the Sleek Living Room in Stassi Schroeder’s New $1.7M Abode
The Vanderpump Rules podcaster has a gorgeous new home in the hills.
In case you missed it: Stassi Schroeder has moved on up. Literally. Recently the Vanderpump Rules podcaster said goodbye to her longtime rental apartment and moved into the gorgeous new home she and fiancé Beau Clark purchased for $1.7 million. Perched high up in the Hollywood Hills, the Spanish-style manse is full of Old World charm, which is exactly what Stassi wanted.
“My dream house — well, first it would be nice if it was a haunted house, so there’s that — but ideally if it was an old white Spanish style house, with really dark hardwood floors and just like so much character and charm,” Stassi told BravoTV.com recently. “I want to just be able to feel like I’m in Europe, or like an old movie star used to live there and throw really fabulous parties.”
Stassi got her wish, but that did involve a bit of renovation — and painting over the home’s cherry wood finishes with a high-gloss black paint.
Stassi gave her Instagram followers a look inside her stunning new living room over the weekend, showing what she was doing (watching The Real Housewives of New York City, natch), while Beau cooked up dinner in the kitchen. Can we talk about this room?! Like something out of the pages of Architectural Digest, the space is striking with its black-and-white color palette, marble fireplace and hearth, and gorgeous paned doorways leading to the patio outside. Stassi outfitted the room with an oversized black glossy coffee table, topping it with a luxe marble tray and a cozy candle. Looks great, Stassi!
