What Tom Tom’s Latest Award Means for Lisa Vanderpump and Her Restaurant Empire
The Vanderpump Rules boss shared her reaction to Tom Tom being named "best bar."
In our hearts, Tom Tom has been the Best Bar in Southern California since its opening day. We mean, where else can you find vegan buffalo wings and this photo? But now, the West Hollywood hotspot has officially been bestowed with the title it deserves, and Lisa Vanderpump is reacting to the honor from Los Angeles Travel Magazine.
The Feast caught up with the Vanderpump Rules boss at the joint premiere party for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 and the series premiere of Mexican Dynasties. We asked her how she felt about the award.
"Well it’s great, really, to have that kind of success because you work so hard and you have such dreams for it and you really want it to be recognized for what it is," she told us. "I think [Tom Tom is] a beautiful place, [with] wonderful cocktails, so yeah, really happy about that."
Ever the businesswoman, Lisa added: "And also, [the award is] a good segue into the fact that we’re opening in Vegas in six weeks." The highly anticipated spot she's referring to, of course, is Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. Already, Lisa has said that the restaurant will have a bit of a similar feel to Tom Tom, since its designer Nick Alaian lent his aesthetic both spots.
