Paige DeSorbo Recently Rocked a Stunning Diamond Engagement Ring: Here's Why

The Summer House cast member recently flashed a gorgeous sparkler, and Madison LeCroy is weighing in.

By Abby Feiner

As Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover have made clear, they're not ready to get engaged just yet. However, as the Summer House cast member thinks about her future with the Southern Charm-er, she was recently excited to wear an engagement ring — and it was a sparkler we've seen before.

On Season 9, Episode 14 of Southern Charm, which aired on December 21, Paige and Craig were having dinner at Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle's house. When Craig got up to use the bathroom, Paige asked Brett, "How did you know what kind of ring to get Madison?"

Madison interjected, "Easy. Pinterest," which led Paige to ask, "You sent shapes you liked?" Brett then confirmed, "She gave me two she liked."

As Paige considered what her engagement ring might look like one day, she shared, "I don't know anything about diamonds. That's the thing. I don't know any shape that I want."

"I try on all of my girlfriends' rings," she continued. "It just doesn't feel like it's me."

Madison quickly took her engagement ring off of her finger and handed it to Paige to try on. "I do like an oval," Paige said as she put the ring on. Madison agreed, telling Paige, "I think oval. 3.5 [carats] or more."

Brett proposed to Madison in 2021 with a diamond sparkler by Bravoleb-loved jeweler Nicole Rose. "He outdid himself," Madison told PEOPLE at the time.

Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover talk about their future

During the episode, Craig and Paige were talking about their long-distance relationship when he assured Paige he was in no rush to take the next step in their relationship. "I know you're not ready," he said. "I've asked you about serious things before, and you've communicated to me that you're not in a hurry."

At the couple's dinner at Madison and Brett's house, the subject came up again. "Our plans are to not make plans," Craig explained. "We have to let the current take us wherever we go because trying to get out of that river right now —" As Craig trailed off, Brett chimed in to ask, "You kind of gotta lead that though, right?"

Craig responded, "Well, this is how we've led it. We said, one day both of us want kids. One day, we want to get married."

As Paige has said in the past, the timing didn't feel right to get engaged. "I'm just not ready to move down here and live in a cul-de-sac and have a baby," she stated. "I'm just not."

Later, she asked Madison and Brett, "Can [we] get engaged and me not be actively moving down here? Is that weird?" and Madison said, "No. We did it."

Madison went all out to host Paige and Craig for dinner. As she prepared for the evening earlier in the episode, Madison laughed as she told Patricia Altschul, "I'm gonna have a chef do, like, a pasta that I'm gonna pretend that I cooked. So, I'm gonna heat it up and take all the credit."

Of course, Patricia asked about Madison's tablescape. "Do you have various place settings?" she asked, to which Madison responded, "I have two types of wine glasses, a water glass." After hearing Madison was serving pasta and a salad, Patricia suggested, "Instead of having two wine glasses, you could have a red wine glass and then a champagne glass. It looks prettier."
