Ariana Madix Offered a Big Update on What's Happening with Tom Sandoval

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval recently welcomed an adorable new addition to their family. The Vanderpump Rules couple rescued a pit mix not long ago, and although they’ve only had her for a short time, Ariana already has plenty of updates to share on the dog and her relationship with Tom. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t smooth sailing at the beginning.

In a May 4 Instagram post, Ariana opened up about the fact that their new dog had a hard time warming up to Tom.

“A short time ago, she was terrified of Tom because of her past,” Ariana explained. “She wouldn’t come near him, and if he had anything in his hands, she would leap onto me like a scared little baby.” 

Luckily, a lot has changed already. “In a couple of short weeks, she’s gotten to where she will now sleep on top of his head. Snoring. Loudly,” Ariana wrote. “I’m so proud of my little fam.” 

The proud dog mom also shared that the dog has had “a glow up,” saying, “She’s also almost a totally different color! I’ve been working to get her coat and skin nice and healthy and shed out a ton of her old hair.” 

Despite all of the strides Ariana and Tom are making with their new pup, she is still nameless for the time being. Ariana confirmed they’re “still working on it,” in response to a comment from one of her followers who asked if her name was Dumpling.
