Brittany Cartwright Reveals She Got Lipo on Her Chin to Get Rid of a “Turkey Gobbler”

In the latest sneak peek of The Valley, Brittany reveals she and Jax share a plastic surgeon.

By Jax Miller

The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright is getting candid about undergoing a cosmetic procedure for one area of her body that once made her feel “self-conscious": Brittany has gotten a chin surgery.

In a sneak preview of The Valley’s season premiere, the mother-of-one and her husband, Jax Taylor, were seen hanging around their Valley Village home, as Jax determined how many Cameos he had to do that day. Brittany, meanwhile, virtually watched the couple’s 2-year-old son, Cruz, in his crib through an electronic monitor while walking around the home.

It was hard to miss Brittany sporting medical gauze that wrapped under her neck and around her head, though. It turns out she recently got work done on her chin.

The couple — who announced their separation to the world in February 2024 — noted it had been 10 days since Brittany went under the knife.

“For the longest time, I have been so self-conscious about my double chin, or like a 'turkey gobbler,' is what we like to call it,” Brittany told producers, making quotation marks with her hands. “So, I had lipo in my chin.”

Speaking with Jax, Brittany explained she still doesn’t have “full control” of her jaw.

“I just have to remember that [for] nighttime activities,” Jax joked as the two of them laughed. “You ain’t going anywhere near that.”

Brittany Cartwright's Plastic Surgery Procedures Besides Chin Surgery

Brittany said she and Jax were “very lucky” to have “friends” in the business of plastic surgery. Since their time on Vanderpump Rules, both have allowed cameras to film multiple procedures they've had for the purposes of enhancing their looks. Jax underwent “three or four” nose jobs, according to Brittany, and other cosmetic procedures for his teeth (not to mention his admitted rounds of Botox).

Eight years earlier, cameras rolled when Brittany had her breast augmentation, which fans would recall from Vanderpump Rules Season 4. Jax  contended that he should be the one to pick the boob size if he were to pay for the procedure on Brittany’s breasts.

On The Valley, a flashback showed docs working on Brittany’s chest, saying, “This is bigger than what we normally put in; I think they both will be happy.”

They have shared more about their plastic surgery journey, including during a March 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when Jax said, “I just so happen to have a friend that’s a plastic surgeon.”

Jax and Brittany — who married in 2019 — recently announced they were taking some time apart and living in different homes. On their shared podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, both have insisted that they’re “still friends” and that their separation is “not a publicity stunt.”

In the March 8, 2024 podcast episode, Brittany told listeners that Bravo cameras were back up and running since the pair parted ways. Still …

“It’s gonna be such a good show,” Brittany emphasized. “There’s so many positive things that we go through, there’s a lot of drama but, you know. It’s a lot going on.”

The series trailer shows turbulence ahead, not just for Jax and Brittany, but also for most — if not all — of the couples on The Valley, including Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick, Jason and Janet Caperna, Jesse and Michelle Lally, and Danny and Nia Booko. Friends of The Valley Zack Wickham and Jasmine Goode also join the cast.

Watch The Valley, premiering Tuesday, March 19, 2024, on Bravo.
