Heather Bilyeu Dishes on War with Madison
"My business is my business," she says.
When Madison showed up unannounced at Heather's co-listing with Josh Flagg, he accused his former friend and assistant of going behind her fiancé's back. Heather had not discussed the listing with Altman. "She just doesn't get it," said Madison, who made a connection between Heather's listing without Altman's knowledge and her decision, long ago, to leave him to go work with Altman Brothers.
After the episode aired, Madison wrote on his blog that after years of beef with Heather, "I feel vindicated by her decisions and actions yet again."
Not one to sit back without sharing her side of the story, Heather took over Altman's blog to vent her frustrations with Madison.
"Madison is trying to create drama and connect dots that are just not there," wrote Heather, who claims she is eager to put their past behind her.
"Madison has clearly not let go from our fall out from over two years ago," she wrote. "I thought we had both moved on and we were in a good space...but apparently not and, sadly, that was just a front on Madison’s end."
Heather made it clear that her listing and the confrontation with Madison won't cause problems between her and her man.
Addressing Madison directly Heather wrote,"Altman and I keep business and personal separate. Meaning my business is MY business, not Altman’s, not Flagg's, and not yours. Altman and I have an understanding and a respect for one another. We support each other growing individually, as a business, and a couple."
The episode wasn't all drama. Viewers got a rare glimpse at Altman's sensitive side, when he visited the jeweler to pick up Heather's completed engagement ring. "Altman seeing my ring for the first time brought tears to my eyes!," Heather wrote after watching his emotional response to the 5.5 karat stunner. "Altman is the most amazing man I have ever met and makes me melt every time I see him."
