Ariana and Katie Drop a Bombshell on Jo and Schwartz’s Relationship: "A Lot of Planning"

Jo Wenberg revealed the "truth" about her relationship with Tom Schwartz on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 11 (which aired April 9), and now, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are shedding new light on the pair's complicated dynamic as well.
Ariana Madix Defends Jo Wenberg After Revealing She Met Tom Schwartz's Family
On the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Ariana compared Schwartz's treatment of Jo to the way he once behaved when he was dating Katie. More specifically, she told Katie, "It reminds me of before you guys got engaged and married when he was kind of, I don't know, just giving you the ring on a string."
Ariana also pointed out that Schwartz "gave [Jo] the bare minimum" with "a promise of something eventually," similar to what he had once done with Katie.
Katie, however, disagreed, and this prompted Ariana to share a surprising tidbit about Schwartz and Jo.

"You and Tom Sandoval are probably the only people who have ever flown to North Florida to see Tom Schwartz's family, and now Jo is the third person," Ariana said. "And if you're sitting there and you're Jo, you're probably thinking, 'The only other girl that's done this is his ex-wife.' Why wouldn't you think that's your boyfriend? I would think that."
Katie pushed back, noting that "Tom made it seem like he didn't invite her, [Jo] wanted to [go]," but Ariana replied, "Well, how did she get the address? They clearly did a lot of planning."
Does Tom Schwartz think he was leading Jo Wenberg on?
No. Schwartz said on the Vanderpump Rules After Show that he and Jo "always kept a clear line of communication." That said, "If it wasn't for that," Schwartz added, "I would probably say guilty as charged."
Schwartz went on to further unpack his relationship with Jo, explaining, "The summer before was just different because it was kinda fiery and passionate and fun and crazy. But by the time we had cameras up and we were filming, it just wasn't the same. It had sort of fizzled out."
That said, when Schwartz and Jo were in the heat of their romance, "It just felt right," he said. "But at the same time, it felt like it maybe had a limited shelf-life, like it was a supernova or something."
