Jo Wenberg Opens Up About Her "Love" for Tom Schwartz: "Maybe I’m Not the Girl for Him"
The Vanderpump Rules friend shared a heartfelt message about her and Tom's relationship: "He will hate this post."
Jo Wenberg is letting the world know she has nothing but love for Tom Schwartz — platonic love, that is.
The SoCal hairstylist addressed the relationship on Instagram this week, just hours after making her Vanderpump Rules confessional debut.
“Been wanting to say this for a while, and give me grace on how I say it,” she wrote in a lengthy March 15 post. “Everything about this human makes me happy. Have you ever found a human that just gets you? Makes you laugh and has a genuine love for people the same way I do too. that’s Tom."

The post featured highlights from Tom and Jo’s years-long friendship, which included everything from road trips and dinners to pool days and casual hangouts in Tom’s apartment. The collection of moments was equal parts sweet and lighthearted — pretty everything you’d expect their friendship to be.
“Maybe I’m not the girl for him, but I get it,” Jo continued. “[H]e is really a good example of someone living in the moment always and so am I… (He will hate this post because it’s a compliment to who he is) but someone has to say it – [Tom] has the best laugh, smile, and people should really know how kind he is. I’ll love him forever as a friend people!”
Tom Schwartz and Jo Wenberg address their past fling
Tom and Jo shared details of their relationship in Vanderpump Rules Season 11 Episode 7, which premiered on March 12. Tom explained that Jo had stayed at his apartment "sporadically" and developed a friendship that evolved into a brief fling; however, the pair never became official.
“Literally everyone in my life, whenever I bring you around, they’re like, ‘Is that your [girlfriend]?’” Tom told Jo during the episode.
“You should just be like, ‘Oh, this is just my sister,’” she joked, to which Tom replied, “That’s really weird, because some people know we’ve had sex.”
Although he was previously “intimate" with Jo, Tom made it clear they were nothing more than good friends. But it seemed Jo may have felt a bit differently.
“I think we did really catch feelings for each other,” she said in an episode interview. “And I’m pretty sure they’re still there.”

The episode aired about a month after Tom shared an update on his love life and how's navigating the dating scene since divorcing his castmate Katie Maloney. Although he’s been romantically linked to content creator Sophia Skoro, the Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner suggested he wasn’t involved in anything serious.
“I would say I’m not not dating,” Tom said during his February appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “I’m hanging out, it’s new, it’s exciting.”
