Kate Chastain & Alan Cumming Tease The Traitors Reunion: "Unresolved" Tension to Work Out

The two-time player and series host speak with The Daily Dish about all things The Traitors ahead of the finale and reunion special.

Immediately following The Traitors Season 2 finale, which airs on Peacock on Thursday, March 7 at 9 p.m. ET, the series' celeb-filled cast will cluster back together in the same room for the first time since production. As part of our bigger interview with Kate Chastain, the two-time The Traitors player and Below Deck star guessed that some heated confrontations over gameplay will certainly be a big topic for this reunion.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

"I think that the reunion will be very interesting," Chastain said. "There's a lot of unresolved conversations to be had there."

In a separate interview, Cumming agreed and said, just as an observer, he was "amazed" by the tribal nature of the Real Housewives players, something that he detailed on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "They were a pack and they were like, 'Don't come for us.' And the way that Phaedra went for Parvati when she very cleverly, I thought, said, 'It's called The Traitors,'" he said with a laugh. "But Phaedra couldn't betray a fellow Housewife. So I feel Phaedra's going to let rip a little bit."

He is also "intrigued" by people like Marcus Jordan who went out early. "To hear how they feel about going off and what happened," he said. "Like Larsa [Pippen], I imagine, has got a lot to say. I think with the tribal nature of the Housewife energy, I think that could be quite fascinating."

He's also excited to see and hear what Ekin-Su will bring to the table. "How she said, 'I can taste the poison.' Hilarious!" he remembered of her drama in the graveyard. "And I can't wait to see what John [Bercow] has to say because he's obviously not involved [in celebrity culture] and he's not on social media. He's not been a part of the social media 'me me' sort of thing of it. So seeing his take on it is always good."

The Season 2 finale of The Traitors streams Thursday at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. on Peacock alongside The Traitors: Postmortem aftershow. The Traitors Reunion Show will follow the finale. All of Season 1 is already available to watch on Peacock.
