Katie Maloney-Schwartz Says the Vanderpump Rules Finale Made Her Cry

Vanderpump Rules Season 8 has been an emotional rollercoaster for everyone involved. From Jax and Brittany’s fairytale wedding to Beau Clark’s proposal to Stassi Schroeder to the friendship breakups, there has been no shortage of intense ups and downs. After the May 19 finale, Katie Maloney-Schwartz opened up about what it was like to watch the culmination of such a dramatic season. 

“That finale made me cry when I watched it. Not gonna lie,” Katie tweeted. 

Katie didn’t indicate which exact moment triggered such a visceral reaction, but she did tease her feelings toward the entire season in an Instagram post before the finale aired. “It’s time for the Pump Rules Finale!” she captioned the photo. “What a freakin’ season y’all!!” 

Although the finale has come and gone, the cast still has the opportunity to hash out all of their feelings during the first ever virtual Vanderpump Rules reunion. It sounds as though this reunion will be particularly explosive, despite the fact that the cast had to film it remotely due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In an Instagram post, Katie noted, “We may have been socially distant, but it was still [fire]!”

James Kennedy also spoke about the reunion. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home, he said,  “I thought it was really good. I thought that it was gonna be boring in the beginning, but after it was done, I was like ‘This is the best reunion yet.’ I just didn’t know we were going to get our true emotions across the screen but it worked.’”
