How Does Katie Maloney-Schwartz Really Feel About Husband Tom Schwartz’s “Breakup” with BFF Tom Sandoval?

It’s no secret that Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval have a bromance for the ages. The Vanderpump Rules besties are as thick as thieves, and there is no question that they've shared some pretty heartwarming moments together.

It’s also pretty obvious that the opposite relationship exists when it comes to Sandoval and Katie Maloney-Schwartz. As fans have seen, the tension and drama between the two has reached new levels in Season 9, and Sandoval can’t seem to see eye-to-eye with his BFF's wife on just about anything  — other than their mutual love for Schwartz, that is.

Well, Katie had a lot to say on the Toms' friendship reaching a breaking point during her December 14 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. When host Andy Cohen asked Katie's thoughts about her hubby's "breakup" with Sandoval during the Vanderpump Rules December 14 episode, Katie replied with a laugh, "So melodramatic." Scheana Shay also shared her reaction to the duo's decision to take a break, which is revealed in the clip, above.

Of course, Schwartz definitely didn’t take parting ways with his bestie as lightly as Katie. He opened up in an interview within the December 14 episode about how he struggled with being between a rock and a hard place when it came to his wife and his BFF, saying, “Trying to mediate between these two has gotten to the point where it’s killing me inside."

Back in the Clubhouse, Andy also asked Katie to weigh in on Sandoval's statement that he brought in a lot of money into Katie and Schwartz's house and relationship. In the December 14 episode, Sandoval sat down for a conversation with Katie that quickly turned sour, after he claimed to bring "at least" $20,000 into their household — to which Katie replied, “He makes his own money, do not take credit for what he does.” She doubled down on her response to Sandoval, telling Andy, "It takes two. Without Schwartz, there would be no Tom and Tom. You can’t take credit when there’s two people in a duo."

In addition to talking all things Toms, Katie also dished on Schwartz's most questionable solo past behaviors during her WWHL appearance (including her thoughts on both his Lisa Vanderpump butt tattoo and butt steaks shenanigans) which you can see in the below clip.

Speaking of the steaks, Andy asked Katie about the grossest Schwartz stunt ever during a game of "Defend Your Man" on WWHL, referring to that butt steaks prank. Katie had this to tell Andy about her hubby's prank: “Oh yeah, that is hilarious. I say do it again.”
