Kenya Moore Says She Wasn't "Allowed" to Speak to Marc Daly's Parents During Their Marriage

"There's a large part of him or the relationship that I was never privy to," the RHOA mom said.

By Laura Rosenfeld

After getting some rest and relaxation in Greece — well, somewhat — it's back to the ATL in an all-new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday, April 5 at 8/7c. That means it's back to reality for Kenya Moore as she deals with the aftermath of her and Marc Daly announcing their decision to divorce prior to the ladies' Grecian getaway.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

In a sneak peek of the upcoming episode, Kenya opens up about what may have gone wrong in her marriage to Marc. "One of my issues with him is not being able to just have a conversation without yelling or anger or crossing lines. I know it's not me, and I know how hard I've fought for this marriage," Kenya shares. "I stopped caring about my feelings, and all I was doing was just trying to be everything he wanted me to be and work through everything as best I could to keep my family together."

Kenya Moore Reveals She Was Never Allowed to Speak to Marc Daly's Parents

She goes on to say that it felt like Marc hadn't been totally transparent during their marriage. "I just feel like it's always been this block up with him of not letting me completely in to his life," Kenya says. "It's just a lot of things I felt like I was in the dark about."

Kenya gives an example of what she was "never privy to" in her relationship with Marc during an interview in the episode. "I'm not allowed to speak to his mother or father," she says. "If you don't know everything about that person's life, you're not being let in."

The preview clip ends with Kenya saying that she only cares about what's best for their daughter, Brooklyn. In another sneak peek, Kenya opens up about how she and Marc will work out co-parenting Brooklyn, sharing that he will always have access to his daughter, but she doesn't want him to stay over at her house. "I just don't know how to even make the visitation work," Kenya says.

Kenya and Marc announced their separation in September 2019. But by the winter, the two seemed to be in a much better place. Kenya confirmed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 16 that she and Marc were "trying to figure it out" when it came to the future of their relationship.
