Shamari DeVoe Proves She’s a Super Mom with This Photo of Her Breastfeeding Her Twins at the Same Time
The Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer gives a very revealing look at motherhood.
Shamari DeVoe is an accomplished singer, but The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal has even more talents. Shamari recently posted a thowback snap that basically proved she's a superhero when it comes to parenting, and we can't help but tip our hats.
In the January 31 post, Shamari is seen breastfeeding both of her twin babies at the same time. (As The Real Housewives of Orange County's Meghan King Edmonds can attest, this is no easy feat!) And not only is it hard to breastfeed two teeny humans, it's hard for many women to breastfeed at all. In her caption, Shamari shared her story:
"[Throwback Thursday] to when I breastfed my babies for 13 months. There were many times I wanted to give up because nursing 1 baby is hard, let alone 2; but when you become a mother, you put your wants and needs aside for your children," the proud mama wrote. She added: "[DeVoe twins] I may have given you life, but really you gave me mine. Kudos to all the #Breastfeeding Moms out there!"
Shamari's babes Ronald III and Roman, whom she adorably refers to as her "pots of gold," were born in July 2017. Here's a recent peek at the little cuties, from their very own Instagram feed:
