James Kennedy Is Seen Kissing a New Special Someone on Instagram

James Kennedy is letting fans in on his trip to Tulum, which includes a very special travel companion.

The Vanderpump Rules DJ recently posted photos of his getaway on Instagram as he checked out cenotes in Tulum. Mixed in with the pics of James in the water are several snaps of him kissing a mystery woman. "Only the most magical trip I’ve ever experienced in my entire life, here’s a little slide show of [today's] adventure," James captioned the series of photos on March 15. "Share the love people! [And] the positivity! ['Cause] life’s too short."

James also shared some videos of him and this new special someone in his life in his Instagram Stories after his "first cenote experience," which she also chimed in to say was "amazing."

He included another photo of himself and the woman locking lips while sharing four pictures from their trip on Twitter on March 16.

James previously posted photos from his vacation on Instagram, which makes us think that he must have either been sans shirt or with his shirt wide open the whole time in Tulum. After all, there is "something about this magical place," according to James, as he noted in the caption to one pic of him in the pool.

James opened up a bit more about his current love life via his rep in a statement to Us Weekly on March 15. “James met Ally recently and they have been dating for a few months now,” his rep told the publication. “He’s super happy and excited to see what the future holds.”

This news comes more than three months after James and Raquel Leviss announced that they had called off their engagement and ended their relationship in a statement shared on both of their Instagram accounts in December (the post appears to have since been removed from James' Instagram). "After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement," the statement read. “We love each other very much, but we aren't in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.”

James and Raquel shocked the Vanderpump Rules cast when they announced their breakup at the Season 9 reunion, which aired in January. Raquel explained at the time that, after careful consideration, she came to the conclusion that her "heart hasn't been fully in it." James also noted that a conversation about whether or not the two were soul mates was "the first time I felt like we weren't destined in the galaxy."

During the reunion, the couple also cited the pandemic and the lack of intimacy in their relationship as contributing to their split. "We're just growing up, and you can't f--king fight that," James said at one point. "There's nothing wrong, but we both know that it isn't right."

Raquel later moved out of the apartment she shared with James, along with dog Graham, and notably had an "unengagement party" in January, complete with penis straws (which were a major topic of conversation during Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules). In addition to working toward a career in occupational therapy, as Raquel mentioned during the reunion, she also had a recent modeling gig.

As for James, on top of his travels, he has been focusing on his music, including a national tour and, of course, his See You Next Tuesday sets at SUR.
