See Jax Taylor Return to Vanderpump Rules for Season 11 (VIDEO)

Vanderpump Rules’ ​​Tom Sandoval may be getting some advice from a surprising source in the upcoming season. 

The show's executive producers revealed at BravoCon 2023 in the panel "Spilling Vanderpump Tea with Bravo Producers," featuring Alex Baskin, Jeremiah Smith, and Natalie Neurauter, as well as Sheonna Mix, Vice President, Current Production at Bravo, that Tom’s former bestie and Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor will drop in during Season 11, premiering in January, to catch up with Tom.

Plus, a new, extended teaser trailer for Season 11 revealed new details about Jax's return.

Jax Taylor Returns for Vanderpump Rules Season 11

A new teaser for the upcoming season dropped on December 11, and it shows Jax grabbing a bite to eat with his former boss, Lisa Vanderpump.

"You wrote me off!" he tells her.

"You're such a f-cking hypocrite!" she says in response, though viewers will have to tune in to find out what exactly the two are talking about.

The Vanderpump Rules Producers Tease Jax Taylor's Return

Executive producer Sheonna Mix shared that Jax will be involved in another important conversation on the season. 

“There’s going to be this amazing moment with Jax Taylor where he has the opportunity to talk, for lack of a better word, to Tom Sandoval,” she revealed.

It’s been years since Jax and Tom appeared on the show together after having a famous falling out that drove the two friends apart. Jax even told Andy Cohen during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2020 that he had “zero interest in talking” to Tom again.

Although there’s no word yet on whether Jax returns to talk to his one-time bestie under a friendly context, Jax did open up about the unexpected reunion during a recent interview with E! News.

“I do finally get the chance to have a talk with Tom, you’ll see,” he said on Oct. 26. “Three weeks ago, four weeks ago is when we talked for the first time after all of this. I was trying to figure out how I was going to approach Tom, because I haven’t seen him in such a long time. He’s called me out on so many different things after this all happened.”

Jax decided to make the gesture after learning of Tom’s shocking split from long-time girlfriend Ariana Madix. He told E! News he was hopeful Tom could find some redemption (although he stayed mum about how their conversation went after years of radio silence). 

"I think you have to hit rock bottom to work your way back up," Jax said. "Take it from somebody who knows. I think he has a way. I don't know if he's going to figure it out, but I hope so. I hope the best for him. You always wanna see people do well."

Tom isn’t the only one who Jax has recently reconnected with. The star on E!’s House of Villains told Us Weekly last month he’s also smoothed things over with Lisa Vanderpump.

“Everything’s good. We had some unresolved issues,” Jax said. "We kind of lost contact a little bit during the pandemic and everything ... But everything’s OK now. Everything looks good.”

Sheonna didn’t reveal whether any other familiar faces will pop up in Season 11, but she certainly left room for the possibility. 

“These are real friends, real friendships, so even though people are no longer on the show, they are still very much involved in their lives,” she said.
