Scheana Shay Spills On Her "Little Fling" with Shep Rose: Details

It's been nearly three years since Vanderpump Rules and Southern Charm fans first got word of a potential romance between Scheana Shay and Shep Rose, and now, she's elaborating on what exactly went down between the two. 

In conversation with Southern Charm's Olivia Flowers on the latest episode of her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana explained that she and Shep "kinda had a little fling." 

"It was a blip in time," she added. "When I met him, I just thought he was the funniest, most charismatic person."

"I was like, 'Oh my god, he must be great on the show!' and he was like, 'Don't watch it,'" Scheana recalled with a laugh. "He's like, 'Your entire viewpoint of me will change.'"

Suffice to say, the "fling" didn't go very far. As Scheana previously told BravoTV.com, she and Shep "did not sleep together," but they did "hook up" in 2018, about a year before Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's wedding. Then, when it came time for the 2019 nuptials, Scheana said another hook-up was "definitely an intention." 

However, "He's not the best at rounding all the bases," she joked of Shep. "By the time he hits second, going onto third base, he's too drunk to remember what he's doing. So, at the wedding, it was like a bunt to first and the start of a drunken makeout — and I was like, 'I can't do it.' It was just so sloppy."

That said, "I love Shep and he's a sweetheart and we have so much fun together," Scheana added at the time. "And he's honestly one of the funniest people I've ever met in my life."

Back on her podcast, Scheana continued to reflect on her Bravoleb dating history. "When I was single, I dated a Shahs [of Sunset cast member], I dated a Southern Charm [cast member], [and] I dated a Summer House [cast member]," she told Olivia of past her romances with Shahs of Sunset's Nema Vand, Shep, and Summer House's Carl Radke.
