Who is Marcus Jordan? Everything You Need to Know About Larsa Pippen's Boyfriend

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Marcus Jordan is the founder and CEO of Trophy Room, as listed on his Instagram account. According to the company’s Instagram bio, the luxury retail boutique is located in Orlando, Florida, and is “inspired by the trophy room within the Jordan family residence."

The Chi-town native is also a former collegiate athlete, as he was a shooting guard for the University of Central Florida basketball team.

Marcus is the second son of former NBA legend and Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, famously known for playing with the basketball team Chicago Bulls alongside Larsa's ex, Scottie Pippen. His mom is Michael's ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy.

During an appearance on the February 28 episode of Tamron Hall, Larsa said she “didn’t plan” to date the son of her ex’s former teammate, but “it just so happened.”

Larsa told People in February 2023 that she and Marcus first met in 2019 at a party in Los Angeles, and they were able to build a “great foundation as friends.”  

Rumors didn’t begin to spread about the two possibly dating until September 2022, after they were spotted together. At BravoCon 2022, during the We’re Going (Back) to Miami panel, Larsa addressed all the speculation surrounding her love life after a fan asked her about the alleged relationship.

“You guys gotta understand — I’m friends with a lot of people,” Larsa explained. “I think sometimes, if I go out with people, I think it’s magnified bigger than it actually is. We’ve been friends for three years or so and… yeah.” 

A month later, when Larsa stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse for a December 2022 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the RHOM ‘Wife was in good company of Marcus, who watched from the audience.

After months of dating rumors, Larsa and Marcus finally went public with their relationship by posting a photo as a couple on her Instagram feed. The snapshot showed the lovebirds holding hands while standing in front of a flower display designed as the back of Michael Jordan's Bulls jersey.

"Checks over stripes," Larsa wrote in the caption of her photo, tagging Marcus’ store Trophy Room as the location.

Since making things official, Marcus and Larsa have been inseparable from enjoying their first Valentine’s Day together, celebrating “Sunday Funday,” to giving fans a look inside their one of many date nights.

In August, Marcus told TMZ that he and Larsa were “looking for a location” for their wedding after she was spotted wearing a sparkler on her left ring finger. However, the RHOM couple soon took to their podcast to set the record straight on their engagement status.

“I think I responded in a cheeky way,” Marcus said about his playful comment. “I told them we’re looking for a location and that it’s in the works.”

Larsa then shared where the two stand in their relationship, saying, “I had a hundred calls and text messages of people congratulating us and I was like, ‘I’m so excited’ — but no, we’re not engaged.”

Later in the podcast, Larsa revealed that the diamond she flaunted was a "promise ring" gifted to her by Marcus. And while there will be no wedding bells anytime soon, Marcus did share that he’ll be sourcing a new rock for his special lady when the time comes.

“I feel like it’s going to be massive for sure,” he said after Larsa mentioned that she didn’t need a “huge” ring. “I feel like I’ve got good taste, so let Marcus James drive this train, OK.”

Marcus is 32-years-old. Larsa has addressed their 16-year age difference in recent months. 

“I feel like I should have love, I should be able to date who I want, I should be able to live happy and just go wherever I want to go and not be judged every time I’m seen with someone,” she said. “We have everything in common. I’ve dated guys a lot older than me — Scottie is 10 years older than me — so I don’t really view age as you’re mature or immature. I don’t feel like that determines if you’re mature or not... I feel like age doesn’t really determine your level of maturity.”
