Andy Cohen on the Bride Wars premiere, Oprah, and Ann Coulter.
Last night was the premiere of "Bride Wars" and stars Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Kristen Johnston were joined on the blue carpet (what will they think of NEXT!) by Babsy Walters and "The Real Housewives of New York City"! You heard me, folks, the ladies are back and hitting the carpet in preparation for their big launch next month.
There was a bit of a kerfluffle when beloved Ramona approached Miss Hudson as she was getting her solo shot taken by about 100 paparazzi. I believe that Lady R just wanted to tell Hudson how hot she looked, but maybe Kate didn't think that was the perfect moment to have that chat... I don't know, but the ladies are back and I'm IN. Don't put our cart before our pony, though, because there's more drams from the OC continuing tonight.
The movie was... about 90 minutes or maybe more. Kristen Johnston was HILARIOUS - worth the price of admission. That lady KILLS ME. The party after was at Tiffany's flagship store on 5th Avenue; you can't get more classic than that, people. The gift bag was a little blue Tiffany's book, which I plan to regift with a very straight face, perhaps on this very night! With a straight face!
Did you see "Man On Wire"?? If not, do! It's the amazing documentary about a loony French dreamer who crossed the Twin Towers on a tightrope in the 70's. They never mention 9/11, which is a fascinating editorial choice about which I would love to chat with someone. Otherwise it is PHENOM. Run!
Just when I think I am quite possibly going to take a teeny break from Oprah, she reaches deep in her butt and pulls out a show like yesterday's "Best Life" kickoff thingy. I DARE you to watch yesterday's show and not invest. I am treadmilling with you, Oprah! Go!
Meanwhile the TODAY show cancelled Ann Coulter and she wants us to get all our panties in a bundy because of the liberal media bloo haa. Waaaah. Here's what: maybe TODAY just doesn't want to have moronic hate-talkers on? Could that be it? That being said, Harry Smith did an amazing interview with her today.
I think she should just stick to blogging like the rest of the idiots out there.
