On this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, charter guests seem to unanimously agree that chef Mathew Shea's food is incredible. However, a viewer recently pointed out the one thing that always seems to be missing. 

"Why isn't there any bread service for dinner on the yacht?" someone wrote to Mathew during a September 29 Ask Me Anything session on Instagram. "I've never seen it on any season."

The chef replied, "Usually there is bread service," however, "they don't seem to show that or most of my dessert," on the show. 

There were two memorable desserts viewers did get to see. On the August 9 episode, Mathew asked Courtney Veale to help decorate cakes he made for their guests' celebration. In Courtney's words, one of the cakes looked like "someone's just made it for an 8-year-old's birthday."

Although the guests were a bit taken aback by the appearance of the cakes, the taste made up for it. One guest declared, "He's really good at desserts, too." While those cakes caused Mathew some stress, a different dessert-making experience was a season highlight for him. On September 20, Mathew revealed that one of his favorite moments from filming was, "baking a cake with [Roy Orbison III]."
