Before watching Dorit Kemsley ask for a drink on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the phrase "carcass out" may not have meant anything to you, unless maybe you were watching a nature documentary. But seeing the fashion designer rattle off the order once is enough to change you as a person. (Or at least influence your next happy hour.) In fact, we at Bravo love her signature "carcass out" drink order so much that we had to put it on a can-shaped glass to celebrate Dorit's favorite with every sip.
The best part about our exclusive "carcass out" can-shaped glass? Probably the fact that you can use it to make any beverage just a little bit more fabulous. While Dorit has a very specific drink order, there's no rule that states you can't enjoy an iced tea, soda, or tequila seltzer with three lemons, carcass out.
Besides, when life gives you lemons, you should always ask for them served carcass out.

What is Dorit Kemsley's drink order?
Say it with us now: Dorit would love a Belvedere soda with three lemons, carcass out. If possible, she'd also prefer it in a "short glass." So, in other words, it's a vodka soda with a lot of lemon, but without the lemon rinds, which Dorit refers to as "carcasses."
During a September 2022 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she noted that while she did not invent the drink name, it's something she picked up while traveling the world.
"It started when I was living in Italy in my early 20s," Dorit said. "I had heard it from someone, and it stuck. I just thought it was so cute, and then I’ve just been saying it ever since."
Over the seasons, viewers have watched Dorit's husband Paul "PK" Kemsley instruct Mauricio Umansky on the proper way to construct the drink, as well as fellow cast members like Erika Jayne be moved to order one of their own.
Basically, it's just a personalized twist on a classic built cocktail. And it's really very chic! So thank you, random person in Italy, for influencing Dorit — and inspiring Bravo fans for many beverage orders to come.
