Captain Sandy Yawn & Girlfriend Leah Shafer Bond Over At-Home Beauty Treatments

Captain Sandy Yawn and her girlfriend, Leah Shafer, are taking a little time for self-care. The Below Deck Mediterranean captain and her girlfriend of two years shared an adorable selfie on Instagram as they enjoyed a well-deserved moment of pampering with a trendy beauty treatment. 

"2 years ago I met this incredible soul, my true love," Sandy wrote in her touching caption alongside a shot where the ladies were covered in a dark charcoal face mask. "It’s so true couples that play together stay together. Yep this is Leah’s idea of fun, detoxing the skin with a charcoal mask!" she continued. 

Earlier this year, the couple confirmed that Leah is currently cancer-free after she was diagnosed with lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) last year, putting her at a higher risk of developing breast cancer, and underwent a lumpectomy in October 2019 to remove pre-cancerous cysts in her right breast. After undergoing a biopsy in June, Leah found out that she was in good health and the couple thanked everyone for their "good thoughts and positive vibes." 

Now, it looks like both Leah and Sandy are enjoying some much-needed relaxation with the added benefit of staying on top of their skincare. Both Sandy and Leah were all smiles in the pic and you could tell that they were glowing even when covered by a layer of charcoal.
