Historical fact: Below Deck chief stew Kate Chastain once survived a shipwreck on chips and rosé. So, we wanted to know what her counterpart, Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew Hannah Ferrier, would want to have on hand should she ever find herself in similar circumstances.

And it turns out... Hannah's ideal deserted-island spread isn't so different from Kate's.

"Probably — definitely — rosé," she told The Feast when she sat down with us at Bravo HQ in Los Angeles. "You’d need wine. Especially if you were there with the rest of the crew."

So that takes care of the liquid diet. How about solids? "Food wise, probably bread and cheese — if I’m in France," she said. "Good bread and good cheese. How I’m not like 100 kilos is beyond me!"

She didn't explicitly include her other favorite diet staple. (Hint: Let's just say she doesn't agree with the yacht charter guest's famous "chicken is what poor people eat" comment.) And she definitely didn't mention taco shells or steak.

Still, her picks represent a much more well-balanced meal than the one Hannah saw when reviewing the craziest charter guest's preference sheet she's ever seen. And it sounds like a pretty festive survival diet, if you ask us!
