Kim Kardashian has said goodbye to her long extensions and gone for the shortest hair we've seen on her in a while: A blunt angled lob! As everything Kim does pretty much breaks social media, should we expect this to be the new hot look for fall?
"This blunt cut, asymmetrical, lob (long bob) is perfect for the fashionista that is Kim Kardashian,” says hair stylist Monaé Everett. If you like experimenting with your look—and are tired of layers—go for this style. “All of the cool kids will be wearing this style this fall. Especially since it's perfect for most face shapes and can be achieved using a [only] a smoothing serum and a flat iron," says Everett. "Add hair extensions for a super dramatic effect.”

To recreate this trendy cut, make sure that you ask your stylist to maintain length and keep the front part slightly longer. “This works really well with the bang because it elongates the face instead of shortening it. Make sure the back is not angled too far forward and there is a slight difference from the back gradually to the front being longer. A very deep exaggerated side part will give you a sexy, cozy look for fall,” says Michelle Forst, celebrity stylist at George the salon Chicago.
But beware, there are mixed reviews...
Max Gierl, Senior Stylist at mizu new york salon, is wary of embracing this Kim-coined trend quite yet. "I'm not a fan of a bob with too extreme an angle like this," he says. "I like the right side best. Much more striking and always on point. When you have too extreme an angle it can start to look a bit ratty when not styled to perfection."
