How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Lisa Barlow loves her family, her businesses, and comfort food. But as fans know well, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member also loves her glam team. If you're inspired by the Vida Tequila owner's commitment to looking her best every day, we have good news: You can shop makeup bags inspired by Lisa right here. Oh, and they're under $20.

The entrepreneur always looks good, but it wasn't until RHOSLC Season 4, Episode 4 that viewers found out just how much effort Lisa puts in to putting her best face forward. Despite encouragement from fellow cast members Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas, she was reluctant to partake in an impromptu drag competition that was to be judged by none other than Trixie Mattel. (Meredith Marks had planned a girls' getaway at the Trixie Motel in Palm Springs, so the drag queen's cameo wasn't too surprising.)

Pulling Meredith and a producer aside, Lisa shared that her hesitance to join in on the makeup festivities had "nothing to do with Trixie," adding that she paid her makeup artist, Morgan Fay $2,500 plus the cost of travel to attend the group trip.

"I'm not doing it," said Lisa. "I like to look a certain way when I'm out in public."

Lisa explained in an interview during the episode, "I spend on average $60,000 a year on glam. I get my makeup done daily. My makeup artist is on retainer." She also emphasized, "It's not just when I'm on girls' trips, it's not when I'm hanging out — it's for me to go to the grocery store." During the Season 4 reunion, she also admitted her poor eyesight makes doing her makeup essentially impossible on her own.

Having a daily beauty routine completed by professionals is inspirational. It's also more than a little aspirational for most viewers. While RHOSLC fans probably haven't had glam in "Monaco, St. Tropez, and everywhere [they] go," as Lisa's amazing line from Season 4 went, what they can have is a makeup bag featuring a quote from the legend. It makes it easy to bring glam everywhere you go! With or without someone on retainer. But hey, if your cosmetics bag says it, someone might just think it's true.

Of course, Lisa did eventually participate in the drag competition during the Palm Springs trip — with help from Morgan, of course — and while she didn't walk away with the gold, we have to admire someone who knows exactly who she is in any situation.
