Kylie Jenner's Pop-Up Shop Has Some Seriously Daunting Rules
Think twice before bringing a folding chair.
Kylie Jenner fans will go to any length to get their hands on one of her famous Lip Kits—even if that means standing in line for hours on end. As you may have heard, the beauty mogul opened a pop-up shop at the Topanga Westfield Mall in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Filled with any and all things Kylie—and that includes a wall of pink fluorescent lights spelling out her name—the temporary shop also comes with a long set of rules.
Racked snapped a photo of store signage, which outlines a few no-nos for fans hoping to snap up some coveted merch. For one, no guests are allowed to sit on line, no matter how long the wait. (And—you guessed it—lines were long.) Guests who want to shop in groups also have to remain in line together, with no holding places. "If you need to exit the line for any reason, you must re-enter with the original people(s) you began the line with," the sign says. (Um, what about a bathroom break?) Also, get this: Inside the store, there are no price tags on merchandise. So, shoppers only find out how much things cost at the register.
The pop-up shop also has some rules typical of stores that tend to get mobbed. All visitors, for example, have to wear wristbands, and only a certain number of people are allowed inside the shop at a time. Still, take this as a warning: only the most committed of Kylie fans should attempt visiting the shop. For the rest of us, there's always social-media gawking.
