Cold feet before saying “I do?” Just take a shot from your bouquet. Say, what?
One genius design team has invented a sneaky way for brides to drink when posing for those pictures while all the wedding guests enjoy the cocktail hour. The Boozy Bouquet is the first bouquet handle that doubles as a flask. Landscape designer Angela Huerta came up with the invention after a friend joked to her that she wished she could hide a flask in her bouquet when she got married.
The bouquet can be seen on Kickstarter, where Angela has raised $4,305 of $55,000 she needs to mass produce the boozy flower holder.
The Boozy Bouquet is designed with three separate parts. One part has the floral cage and water reservoir that holds a floral foam ball in which flower stems and other bouquet materials can be anchored. The final two parts include the handle flask and the permanent flask cap.
“The floral cage and handle flask twist apart easily, making quick sips a cinch,” says Angela. “The handle flask has a shapely scalloped design reminiscent of the Art Deco period. The flared form makes for a comfortable grip and the flattened base helps the bouquet to stand upright on an even surface.”
Three different stainless steel finishes are also available; antique, mirrored polish, and satin.
Just don’t get too drunk and miss your own reception!
