Gage Edward Shares a Cheeky Message to Mark One Year Since Split From Jeff Lewis

A year after announcing his separation from ex Jeff Lewis, Gage Edward is acknowledging the occasion in his own way. The Flipping Out alum shared a cheeky post on Instagram to mark the meaningful date and how far he’s come since.

On January 31, Gage shared a close-up, black-and-white photo of himself, smiling and holding one hand to his face. “Because it’s been 1-year,” he wrote in the caption. He also seemingly hinted at the strength he’s gained through the tumultuous split, adding a flexed biceps emoji.

Though Gage didn’t specify exactly what anniversary he was commemorating, fans were quick to pick up on the significance of the date. Jeff and Gage confirmed their separation in January 2019 after 10 years together. Though the split was initially amicable, things turned contentious as the two battled over the custody of their three-year-old daughter, Monroe.

Jeff has openly discussed the ups and downs of their custody battle, revealing that he had an open-door visitation policy for his former partner before seeking to establish a formalized custody arrangement back in May. The two reached a temporary deal in August, but were reportedly barely speaking while working to finalize the agreement this past fall. Negotiations between the two have since fallen apart, as Jeff detailed on his radio show, according to People.

As the former couple continues to work out their custody arrangements, Jeff has moved on to a new relationship. The radio host made it Instagram official with boyfriend Scott Anderson in September and has since hinted that marriage could be in their future.
