What Does Brad Goreski Think Of Kanye West, The Designer?
The celeb stylist got real about Yeezy.
Critics have mixed opinions about Kanye West's Yeezy collection—but they always have opinions. We're sure we'll hear plenty of them after today's Yeezy Season 5 presentation at New York Fashion Week. And in the meantime, Brad Goreski shared his thoughts on the Kardashian/Jenner-adored line.
Between NYFW appointments, the stylist sat down with The Lookbook to chat all things 'Ye. And as it turns out, he's got nothing but love for the collection. (Those Canadians. So sweet.) "Kayne is someone...people turn to for street-style inspiration," he said, before sharing his own experience dressing up in Yeezy threads.
"I recently tried on a bunch of his clothes at Barneys and I loved them," Brad said. "I thought they fit really well; they felt great. They made me look cooler than I am...I think the pieces are really wearable."
While we wait to see what Kanye has up his sleeve this Fashion Week, here's what we do know. After a wee bit of back and forth regarding the schedule, the show will take place at 3 p.m. at Pier 59. Since Kanye has been teasing Calabasas-theme merch for a while now, it's possible the new line will be inspired by the 'burb. In the meantime, we're pretty sure one of its finest exports will be seated front row.
Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian let New York know that she's coming for it. (Is that not the way to travel? We're so happy she's back on Instagram.) -Reporting by Jocelyn Vena
