Brad Goreski Is Looking For One Thing At New York Fashion Week
"Gowns, gowns, gowns."
Whew, what a time to be alive and in the fashion industry. Not only did it blizzard all over New York Fashion Week, the Grammys are right around the corner. And for a celebrity stylist like Brad Goreski, that means doing double duty. (Or, triple actually: he also stopped by WWHL earlier this week.)
We asked the Fashion Police star exactly what he's looking for when he sits front row at the big shows. "It's red carpet season, so I've got my eyes out for gowns—gowns, gowns, gowns!," he told The Lookbook.
For Brad, peeping the runway collections is like being given free reign at a candy store full of couture. "We've been working with the same collections for four or five months, and of course you want to show the newest, and greatest, and best on your clients on the red carpet," Brad said. "So, game on!"
For his clients headed to the Grammys—Lea Michele, Margaret Cho, and Rashida Jones—Brad hinted that he'll deck them in: "some sparkle, some drama, and some sex appeal." And when it comes to the Oscars, dah-ling, "I'm always going for glamour."
The fashion whiz also gave us a rundown of the red-carpet trends he expects to spill over into everyday wardrobes. Yellow and white dresses are big—"we saw those on the SAG Awards carpet"—but spring 2017 will also be abloom with floral patterns and stripes. You heard it here first! -Reporting by Jocelyn Vena
