Jada Pinkett Smith has never been afraid of switching up her hairstyle: She's tried out pixie cuts, touseled waves, bobs, braids, undercuts, and more.
But for 2018, the actress just debuted a cut that's a bit of a throwback. In the spirit of "new year, new me," the beauty posted a photo of her edgy, asymmetrical look on Twitter and Facebook with the caption "Then came 2018."
Her fierce new hair is the best of both worlds: you've got the pixie cut cuteness on one side, without sacrificing length. Some commenters on Twitter thought it looks familiar, though. One wrote: "I had that haircut in high school. I loved it!"
Others thought it reminded them of the actress's choppy cut for her Fish Mooney role on the TV show Gotham. "Love this hair cut. Fish Mooney revised," another said.
So is Smith's 2018 style for a role or just for fun? We'll have to find out — unless she changes things up again!
