Where Did the Married to Medicine Los Angeles Gang Get Their Degrees?

It's not easy to become an M.D. Here's where each of the Married to Medicine Los Angeles ladies earned their stripes.

Your First Look at Married to Medicine Los Angeles

As the ladies of Married to Medicine Los Angeles say in the clip above, they're living in the city of "smoke and mirrors." However, no one can fake her way into becoming an MD (even though Dirty John tried, but that's another story). Each of the ladies on Bravo's new show earned their licenses the old-fashioned way: by studying hard.

How to Watch

Catch up on Married to Medicine: Los Angeles on the Bravo App.

Keep scrolling to learn where Dr. Imani Walker, Dr. Noelle Reid, and Dr. Britten Cole earned their degrees. We also got the scoop on what the college days were like for actress Asha Kamali Blankinship, and found some tea on real-estate pro Shanique Drummond and new mama Jazmin Johnson

Dr. Imani Walker

The New-York born psychiatrist is at the top of her field: Dr. Imani also heads up the Gateways Hospital & Mental Health Center in Los Angeles as its medical director. Imani earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Noelle Reid

Dr. Noelle is also no slouch. The family medicine physician and former M.C. Hammer backup dancer (oh yes, it's true) owns Trinity Health and Wellness Center in Los Angeles. A self-declared "Chi-town girl," Noelle earned her degree at The University of Chicago's prestigious Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Harbor UCLA Medical School.

Dr. Britten Cole

Based in Florida, Dr. Britten is now an anesthesiologist who practices part-time while she hunts down a full-time role at a Los Angeles hospital. (She's hoping to move to the City of Angels with her family sometime soon.) A board-certified physician, the doc studied at the University of Illinois College of Medicine; she did her residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Asha Kamali Blankinship

After graduating from Howard University (and earning a Master's in theatre from California State University, Long Beach), Asha went on to become — well, what did she not become? The newlywed is an actress slash producer slash writer slash star of the digital series Milk & Honey. (It was executive produced by Idris Elba. NBD.) She's also a part-time faculty member at California State University, Long Beach.

Shanique Drummond

The Jamaican-born beauty — she's fine with it if you want to call her a "Jamaican goddess" — could teach a course on toggling work and family duties. She's a full-time property manager, and also prides herself on taking great care of her kids and making nightly dinners. In stilettos.

Jazmin Johnson

This Inglewood native bills herself as a full-time wife and a new mama. When she's not juggling her responsibilities at home, the Angeleno likes to takes photographs. She's also pals with Shanique, though she doesn't see eye-to-eye with all the ladies.

It's not all business (and beefs) with this gang. Scroll down to hear a fun fact about each of the ladies, and be sure to catch new episodes of Married to Medicine Los Angeles every Sunday at 9/8 c.
