Dr. Jackie Walters Reveals the Exact Cost of Her Home Renovation
The Married to Medicine cast member spared no expense when it came to creating her dream home.
Since 2019, Dr. Jackie Walters has been hard at work turning her new house into her dream home. Although the Married to Medicine cast member once declared the renovation process "doesn’t feel like it’s ever gonna end," the abode (which you can see in the video above) is finally complete. However, as revealed on the show's May 2 episode, perfecting every detail of the house came at a significant cost.
While giving her friends a tour of the finished home, it was revealed that Jackie's kitchen remodel cost $151,000. The room now features white marble counters, eye-catching lighting fixtures, and a mirrored backsplash. After a $69,000 renovation, Jackie's spacious sitting area is also now complete with plenty of chic details. While the stunning dining room set her back $80,000, Jackie's massive closet remodel cost $125,000, bringing the total renovation cost of those rooms to $425,000.
On the show's March 7 episode, Jackie and her husband, Curtis Berry, opened up about the process of renovating their home. "As crazy as this renovation has been, we got exactly what we were hoping for," Jackie said at the time. "I got the dream kitchen, I got my dream closet, I have a glam room right next door to my bedroom. Everything a woman needs all in one place."
As Jackie encouraged Curtis to "tell everyone what you got," he quipped, "I got to spend a lot of money."
