This Is What "Cheat Day" Looks Like For Mariah Huq After Losing 14 Pounds

The Married to Medicine cast member is "trimming down" on the Keto diet, but she still saves room for her favorite sandwich.

Mariah Huq has been following the Keto diet, and she's dropped several pounds as a result of her new lifestyle. Back in February, the Married to Medicine producer showed off her weight loss in a slinky, nude dress. "Down 14 pounds and counting," she wrote in her caption via hashtag. "9 more to go."

As the Atlanta beauty carries on with her fitness mission, she's been whipping up Keto-compliant meals on the regular. But sometimes, she breaks with her low-carb lifestyle to indulge in classic comfort food that takes her back to her roots. And on a recent "cheat day," that meant nibbling on a delicious sandwich while drinking in her lake view. 

Panning over her mouthwatering meal in a May 6 Instagram snap, the former Tennesseean said: "Yes, fried fish sammich on the lake! Nobody in the house eats fish but me. So honey, I had to go back to my old Chattanooga roots, baby. Fish sandwich, some coleslaw, put mustard and Sriracha sauce, Tabasco. It's about to go down on the lake! Lunch on the lake. How you doin'?" (We'd be a lot better if we could have a bite of your sandwich, Mariah.)

"This is more than enough for my cheat day!" the mom of two wrote in her caption. She added hashtags spelling out: "Southern lunch," "foodie," and "No Keto today."

Mariah's cheating had its limits, though. When a commenter asked if she ate the whole sandwich, the Atlanta mom responded; "Nope literally had 3 bites. I was craving it and it was good. Hit the spot!"
