Josh Flagg Is “Stepping In” to Hurry Along His Massive Dream Home Renovation
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles broker just might have to get his hands dirty with this one.
Since purchasing their Beverly Hills dream home nearly two years ago, Josh Flagg and his husband, Bobby Boyd, have faced hurdle after hurdle in the renovation process. Originally, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles broker was boisterous about how well demo was going, saying on Instagram in late 2018, “The Boyd Flagg residence: the fastest rebuild in the history of man. Coming to a theater near you soon. This may be the biggest crew in the history of man."
Fast forward a dozen or so months — with events like a ghost and some seriously bad juju — and the 4,565-square-foot Beverly Hills estate, which they purchased for $5.9 million, still looks like a construction site. In a post to his Instagram last fall, Josh wrote, “Standing in front of the bones of our 'dream home' and contemplating living in a hotel instead," alongside a photo of him with his arms crossed, looking totally fed up.
This week, Josh gave us another update and, um, we’re still seeing open walls. “Stepping in to get the job done faster,” he captioned an Instagram Story video where he was pretending to spackle a wall exposed to the studs, complete with insulation hanging out. Something tells us Josh was just kidding — here’s hoping he and his husband can get those walls up (and keep those ghosts out) ASAP!
