Michael Strahan Gives an Update on the State of Things With Kelly Ripa
The two used to host Live With Kelly and Michael.
Kelly Ripa’s ex co-host Michael Strahan admitted the two no longer speak.
It’s been over two years since the former NFL player blindsided the television host, leaving Live with Kelly and Michael for a hosting spot at GMA. Ripa was so angry she skipped work for four days. At the time she told People, “I think that all people are deserving of fair treatment in the workplace. People deserve respect. People should be treated equally and with dignity.”
Strahan told TIME that the two are no longer friends. They worked together for four years on the morning show.
“I haven't spoken to her in a long time,” Strahan said, adding, “I learned through all that went down with that, you can't convince people to like you.”
Meanwhile, Ripa looked stunning at the Town & Country Jewelry Awards in Manhattan on Thursday night.
