Katharine McPhee and David Foster Are Tired of Taking the Heat for Their 34-Year Age Gap and Want People to Chill
Don't eff with the Fosters — the newlywed couple has some choice curse words for their critics.
Katharine McPhee and David Foster aren't here for anyone's judgment about their 34-year age difference. And just in case that wasn't clear to everyone, they expressed exactly how they feel about haters while at a LGBTQ cruise.
“I don’t know if you noticed or not, but there’s a bit of an age difference between the two of us,” Foster said while joining his new wife onstage during a live performance. “But on this cruise, nobody gives a s - - -.”
“He did the same thing during her second show, except she added a ‘Go f - - - yourself’ to go along with his ‘Nobody gives a s - - -’ comment,” an anonymous source told Page Six.
While Psychology Today has reported on some studies that say that couples with significant age gaps may be more likely to divorce than those who don't have big age differences, the publication has also noted that they're not definitive, and that the opposite can also be true: "Dating someone older or younger exposes you to their stories, their peers, their cultural references and their insights, all of which can lead to great discussion and even more intimacy.”
And they look really happy:
So eff what other people think — let the Fosters thrive!
