FYI, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Do Not Have a Nanny
So who's helping out with baby Archie?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are diving into parenthood without much help.
The new parents revealed their son Archie is currently keeping them up at night, and yes, they’re the ones who are actually getting up to feed him. Vanity Fair reveals the two have not hired a night or maternity nurse to help them out, nor have they hired a nanny. “The couple are managing on their own,” says the report.
“There is no nanny, they are doing it themselves for the time being,” a royal source says, adding that Prince Harry is even changing diapers. (Now that we’d like to see on the @SussexRoyal Instagram page.) “He’s doing it all. He’s completely head over heels in love,” says the source.
So, who is lending a hand? Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, is living with the couple at home and has been “indispensable,” says VF.
The couple does plan on hiring a nanny when they go back to work full-time, which will likely be in October. They may make occasional appearances before then, but Markle is taking maternity leave and will likely be out of the limelight for a bit.
As for the family infighting, Kate Middleton and Prince William visited the couple and spent over an hour with the baby on May 14.
