One New York City matchmaker is hosting a girls night out event called “How To Get Married (or Come Close To It) in 2018.
And she promises to teach you how to do just that.
On Monday, March 5, from 6:30-9 p.m., Samantha Daniels will get successful single women together to meet each other and get advice from me about how to identify men who actually want to get married. “But more importantly, who truly want to marry them in particular,” Samantha tells Personal Space.
Samantha, who started her matchmaking business, Samantha’s Table, over 18 years ago, says she came up with the idea after discovering that single women are constantly striving to learn more about dating and want to educate themselves on what they are doing right and wrong.
“They like to discuss similar issues they are facing and get professional advice from me as I have the inside track about why men wind up marrying certain women and what they are truly attracted to when it comes to dating,” she adds.
With the advent of dating apps, dating “just to date” is easier than ever before but dating “to get married” has become harder than ever, Samantha noticed. Samantha steps in with a little tough love — and some tools — so the women can be the best daters they can be and accomplish their end goal of marriage.
“I take them through a number of exercises and soul-searching questions so that they can recognize the part they play in their own dating,” Samantha says. “I help the women recognize that they are the only common denominator in each of their relationships and how to use that to their advantage.”
During the evening, Samantha and the women take a good look at the following:
- What type of men they are choosing and why
- How to recognize men who are truly ready for marriage
- How to recognize if a man is thinking of a woman as an actual “wife-contender”
- How to date well during the “in-between”—the time between when a woman meets a man with whom she have chemistry and connection and the
- time she is actually walking down the aisle.
- How to identity a woman’s dating “calling card” as well as her detractors when it comes to dating
- How to identity what image a woman is putting forth in her dating and what image she should be putting forth
The women have wine and hors d’oeuvres and get to know each other as Samantha says that one of the best ways to meet men is through other women.
“Most women have a handful of platonic male friends and they are always looking for new women with whom to set them up with, and women are always looking for new women with whom to go out to events or to dinner,” she says.
Samantha says that lastly, she doesn’t lie.
“I make sure that that I am direct and honest with the women when they ask questions or share their experiences because often times it seems that
they don’t have anyone in their life who is calling them out on how they might be,” she says. “They may be sabotaging their relationships or their chance to find love. I want them to leave with a new and invigorated sense of purpose as well as new game-plan for dating.”
The event is designed to get you to stop wasting your time on dead-end relationships, and find a guy who is “marriage minded.”
In addition to the night (which costs $75) Samantha will place you in her database to be kept in mind for her eligible male clients and events.
