Patricia Altschul Shares a Closer Look at Her Gorgeous Bed
The Southern Charm matriarch's bedroom is even more stunning than we thought.
There is no shortage of incredible rooms within Patricia Altschul's jaw-dropping Charleston home, and her bedroom is particularly stunning.
Viewers have gotten a closer look at Patricia's blue-and-white bedroom on recent episodes of Southern Charm because, as Whitney Sudler-Smith explained during Season 9, Episode 10, his mom was unfortunately "laid up" due to a back injury.
Although Patricia was frustrated about being unable to move around as she normally would, she had a very comfortable room to recover in, complete with a cozy bed, chic sitting areas, and a massive bathroom (more on that below).
Patricia Altschul's bedroom
In the video above, Patricia gave BravoTV.com a tour of her bedroom, explaining the walls are padded, she has "a pair of silhouettes...that belonged to Andy Warhol," and everything in the room was created "in the same pattern."
On January 5, Patricia shared a closer look at her bed, including the wall covered in Manuel Canovas fabric, a matching canopy, her blue-and-white bedding, and a loveseat with several cat-shaped throw pillows.
As we know, Patricia's bedding is very important to her. In a recent video for BravoTV.com, Patricia declared, "High-quality bedding is most important."
"I have the finest European sheets," she continued. "Which come from France."
Patricia Altschul's bathroom
Connected to Patricia's bedroom is her stunning bathroom, which follows the same blue-and-white color scheme. "It's unique for many reasons," Patricia explained in the video above. Just one of them: there is a "beautiful period mantelpiece" from 1853 below a mounted television (yes, in the bathroom). "I can lie in the jacuzzi, turn on the television, and turn on the fireplace with remote controls," Patricia said.
Whitney Sudler-Smith's home update
While Patricia is giving a new look inside her stunning bedroom, Whitney recently showed off a new-and-improved area of the property. On Season 9, Episode 15 of Southern Charm, which aired on January 4, Whitney invited his friends over to celebrate his newly renovated cottage.
Whitney transformed the cottage, where Patricia's beloved former butler Michael Kelcourse previously lived, into "an understated bar/pub/hangout spot."
"It's not a bachelor pad," Whitney explained to Olivia Flowers. "It's kind of like a little place where you can hang and not have to go out."
After arriving at the cottage, which now boasts a sleek marble bar, chic barstools, and a fireplace, Craig Conover quipped in an episode interview, "If Whitney was trying to build a place to bring single Charlestonian girls back to, he achieved his goal."
